Job description

Weโ€™re taking on the crusty global cyber market, the "no-BS" security platform for devs. In the past, only large enterprises needed to worry about security. Today, cybersecurity has become the top concern of 75% of all CEOs, from startups to enterprises. This means more work for developers, who need to become security experts and ensure their platforms are secure. But itโ€™s hard. The market is riddled with overcomplicated, expensive tools that arenโ€™t fit for developers. So, we founded Aikido. We are the no-bullsh*t security platform that developers actually like to use. One central platform that shows devs what matters and how to fix it, so they can get back to building.

Why work with us? Founded in 2022 by third-time serial founders, with $25M funding in the bank, we're dead set on getting security done for devs. This is a chance to join an all-star team early, take ownership, and push boundaries.

As our Office Manager, youโ€™ll work with the leadership team on the operations of the headquarters office and company. There are a lot of moving parts that are scaling as we're growing. Processes to manage include:

  • Office: You lead the office from A-to-Z. We are an office-first team, located in River North with expansion to a larger office by the end of the year.

Youโ€™ll lead a tight ship, managing the daily operations of the office, from supplies and maintenance to bigger workplace projects. Your mission is to make Aikido Chicago HQ the best possible environment to work, hang out, and build a global company- together.

  • Events & Travel Management: Youโ€™re the go-to for team logistics and smooth events. Plan company events, meetings, remote employees, customer visits, and more.
  • Internal Ops: Help out with recurring internal ops, including employee onboarding and payment processing.
  • Comms: Act as a liaison between management and other internal/external stakeholders, handling messages and inquiries. Jump into new topics as they come.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
  • Discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Proven experience in a G&A role, preferably working with executives.
  • Must be comfortable being on-site 5 days a week in our River North office.
What you can expect
  • High-impact position in a fast-growing company
  • Competitive salary package
  • A company that sticks to their values in an open and informal atmosphere (see our culture-page on the website for more details)
  • A diverse and inclusive organization that is proud to be an equal opportunity employer

You will be recruited based on competencies. Qualities of people are decisive, regardless of gender, religion, ethnic origin, age, sexual orientation or any disability.
