River Grove School District 85.5 is seeking a paraprofessional for our K-2 Self-Contained Special Education Classroom.
Job Summary:
A paraprofessional works with the classroom teacher to support student learning in a variety of ways. Classroom duties may include, but are not limited to: running instructional groups, providing social emotional support for students and working shoulder to shoulder with students to provide learning support. Paraprofessional also support students in general education classes, during specials and lunch/recess.
Salary:
Starting Salary $21.00 per hour
Education and/or Experience:
Minimum of 49 College Semester hours or have passed the WorkKeys Assessment Skills Test (Offered at Triton College).
Paraprofessional License Needed.
