Familiarity with basic garment construction and measurement tools, such as tape measures and fit forms, is helpful though not always mandatory. Flexibility, professionalism, and effective verbal communication are crucial soft skills for supporting design teams and giving constructive feedback. These skills ensure that clothing lines achieve proper fit and appearance, directly impacting product quality and customer satisfaction.
