Primary Responsibilities
We are seeking a professional to provide business development and office growth in Indiana Local Public Agency Market (LPA). This key individual would work collaboratively to market Fishbeck’s transportation related services as opportunities arise that may be unique to the Indiana LPA market.
Essential Functions
  • Create and participate in strategies for building Fishbeck’s name recognition in the Indiana LPA Market.
  • Meet with key clients and facilitate introductions of Fishbeck staff.
  • Attend client-based organizations meetings and events.
  • Identify opportunities and prepare strategies for client business development and marketing initiatives
    • Coordinate with Fishbeck’s Indiana Marketing Directors across vertical markets and services.
    • Coordinate with Fishbeck staff as project leads are identified.
  • Collaborate with Indiana Transportation Market Sector Director on annual business development plans for Indiana that reflect and support the plans prepared for vertical markets and target industries.
  • Identify regional-specific industry trends for Transportation services.
  • Coordinate with marketing operations on regional-specific marketing materials and events.
  • Report to the firm’s Business Development Committee.
  • Collaborate with current Business Development staff.
  • Assist as needed with marketing to additional Fishbeck Service Lines, including support services lines for Indiana Transportation.
Minimum Physical Requirements
Mobility to work in an office setting, use standard office equipment, visual acuity to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person or over the telephone. Accommodation may be made for some of these physical demands for otherwise qualified individuals who require and request such accommodation. Be able to provide personal transportation to attend marketing related meetings and events.

  • Proven Business Development/Networking expertise with specified clients.
  • Experience with marketing and sales of new clients, coordination and production of proposals, and participation in presentations.
  • Proposal skills including scope development, organizing teams, estimating level of effort, writing, editing, and reviewing.
  • Assisting with development of marketing materials.
