Job description

Ocean Beauty is looking for a Cutter to join our team! We think Ocean Beauty is an incredible place to work and we know you will love it too! We focus on getting quality and sustainable seafood to our local grocery stores and restaurants. Chances are you have had our delicious product!
Pay starting at $26.00 per hour DOE.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
  • Cutting sizing, cleaning, trimming, slicing, and sectioning all types of fish for future processing, packaging, and achieving good yields while meeting customer specs.
  • Properly cut fresh seafood to ensure maximum use of product.
  • Rotate the product daily to ensure maximum shelf life.
  • Comply with all Ocean Beauty Seafoods guidelines and expectations regarding Food Safety, HACCP, and general Safety procedures.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Have excellent communication skills, work ethic, and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Be able to lift 50lb. boxes at a minimum and able to stand for long periods of time in a cold and wet environment.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule according to seasonal demands, including other duties as required.
  • Ability to stand on your feet for long periods of time and working from galvanized rollers and slicing tables.
  • 5 years of fish cutting experience.
