Job description

Our Seafood Distribution Center in Salt Lake City needs a cutter/order packer! We focus on getting quality and sustainable seafood to our local grocery stores and restaurants. We need your help to cut and prepare fish for our wonderful customers. We have a great customer base and we cut and fillet their fish to specifications and perfection. If you have cut meat; you can learn to cut fish! This will be Monday - Friday from 3:00am - 11:30am with pay starting at $21.50 per hour depending on experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Cut fresh seafood to ensure maximum use of product
  • Rotate the product daily to ensure maximum shelf-life.
  • Record gross and net weight of items processed before and after cutting.
  • Packing orders in the warehouse
  • Proper handling of fish is required; we will teach you the techniques.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Have excellent knife skills
  • Work well with other team members
  • Ability to work in a cold and wet environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • 1 year fish cutting experience
  • Do not mind the smell of fresh seafood
