  • Work schedule: Sunday thru Thursday
  • Start Time: From 7:00am until job is complete (usually until around 4pm)
  • Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour

Position Purpose:
Processes and packs fish products using hand tools and machines according to order specifications. Inspects, preps, and labels fish while following safety, sanitation, and company procedures in a clean and organized work environment.
Major Functional Responsibilities:
  • Process & pack fish to order schedule specifications of fish cuts either by a variety of hand tools or by various machines in seafood processing environment
  • Prep fish to various specifications for fish cutters, this will include opening cases, staging, scaling, etc.
  • Receive and inspect fish to ensure quality with no defects or abnormalities. Maintain proper stock levels on production line.
  • Identify various product forms by sight and pack each product according to specifications (type of product, boxes, labels, etc.)
  • Adhere to all company SOPs, GMPs, procedures and work consistently with all food safety, quality and sanitation requirements
  • Perform all other duties as assigned that are necessary, required or directed by management.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, organized work area throughout the facility and common areas.
  • Correctly identify, label & wrap product per established procedures
  • Check the quality of product daily following established procedures & HACCP guidelines
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards
  • Team player with professional, positive attitude and good work ethics.

• Ability to perform repeated tasks with attention to detail.
• Willing to perform all tasks when and where assigned and as changing situations arise.
• Ability to understand to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
• Ability to perform basic math skills
• Ability to work in cold environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Work Experience:
1 - 3 Years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience, knowledge in seafood advantageous.
