Position Summary

The Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe, accurate, and timely delivery of products to customers throughout the region. This position requires operating commercial vehicles, loading and unloading product, maintaining delivery documentation, and providing professional customer service at every stop.

The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, organized, and able to work independently while representing The Fish Guys in a professional manner.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a current Medical Examiner's Certificate.
  • Clean driving record with no major violations or preventable accidents.
  • Previous experience operating commercial delivery vehicles, including box trucks.
  • Ability to read and follow delivery routes using maps, GPS systems, and routing software.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Ability to frequently climb in and out of delivery vehicles and stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday.
  • Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with foodservice, wholesale distribution, or route delivery operations.
  • Experience operating electronic logging devices (ELDs) and handheld delivery technology.
  • Familiarity with DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced delivery environment.
  • Forklift certification or warehouse experience.
Essential Responsibilities
  • Safely operate company vehicles in accordance with DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company policies.
  • Complete scheduled deliveries accurately and on time.
  • Load, unload, inspect, and secure products to prevent damage during transport.
  • Verify orders and obtain required delivery documentation and signatures.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns promptly.
  • Maintain accurate logs, mileage records, fuel reports, and delivery documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse personnel, and customers regarding delivery status or issues.
  • Represent The Fish Guys professionally at customer locations.
  • Follow all food safety, workplace safety, and company operating procedures.
