As Cook II, you play a vital role in delivering an exceptional culinary experience that reflects the high standards of our kitchen. You are responsible for planning, prepping, setting up, and executing quality food production across all menu items and specials. Your attention to detail ensures every dish aligns with our plating guide and room standards.

Job Description:

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Provide timely and courteous guest service consistent with the company's guest service culture
  • Ensure your workstation is properly set up and stocked for efficient dining service
  • Prepare sauces, menu items, and daily specials in accordance with recipes, yield guides, and plating standards
  • Fabricate meat, fish, and poultry to meet menu specifications
  • Ensure all dishes are executed with consistency, quality, and timeliness
  • Communicate proactively with the Room Chef regarding product shortages before items run out
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen equipment and work areas, ensuring compliance with Health Department regulations
  • Follow the direction of the Room Chef and Room Manager while upholding departmental standards and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position
  • Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 2 years of food preparation or kitchen operations experience
  • 6 months of experience in an upscale dining or steakhouse environment preferred
  • Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team
  • Committed to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and safety-conscious work environment
  • Must have experience working all stations on the line

Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
  • Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
  • Verify right to work in the United States
