If you're ready to start learning, growing, and making an impact with a career in fintech, we'd like to know: Are you FIS?

About the Role

You will orchestrate the end-to-end delivery lifecycle for a client's Digital One solution, ensuring high-quality, secure, and predictable releases across complex client environments. Working directly with a large financial institution, this role combines stakeholder leadership, operational management, technical understanding, release governance, and business acumen to drive successful outcomes. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage production risk, and ensure alignment between business objectives and delivery execution. Success is measured through predictable delivery outcomes, client value realization, operational stability, and continuous improvement.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Apply Agile and Scrum methodologies to lead end-to-end release planning, deployment coordination, and delivery execution for complex client solutions.
  • Build trusted client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact to ensure delivery remains aligned with agreed business outcomes.
  • Coordinate client roadmap initiatives, product enhancements, maintenance activities, and defect remediation into achievable release plans.
  • Lead cross-functional teams of business analysts, solution consultants, developers, and QA testers through backlog refinement, estimation, sprint planning, and release planning.
  • Oversee release governance, approvals, compliance requirements, security updates, and deployment readiness activities.
  • Identify, monitor, and mitigate delivery risks through proactive planning, issue resolution, contingency management, and quality assurance practices.
  • Provide clear and timely communication on release status, risks, dependencies, and outcomes to stakeholders, including executive leadership.
  • Analyze release performance metrics and drive continuous process improvements to enhance delivery efficiency, predictability, and quality.
  • Advise clients and internal teams on complex technical and business challenges, recommending solutions that balance risk, speed, and business objectives.
  • Coach teams on delivery best practices, continuous improvement, stakeholder engagement, and end-to-end software delivery lifecycle management.

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience leading software delivery, release management, or program delivery functions in complex technology environments
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, agile delivery practices, sprint planning, release governance, and operational support models
  • Demonstrated ability coordinating cross-functional teams and managing competing priorities across multiple initiatives
  • Experience managing client relationships, senior stakeholder expectations, and executive-level communications
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in a high-pressure client environment, anticipate challenges and put appropriate contingency plans in place
  • Strong knowledge of production risk management, change management, and operational controls
  • Ability to analyze technical and business requirements and translate them into actionable delivery plans
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant professional experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within digital banking, financial technology, or highly regulated environments
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, release automation, and modern delivery frameworks
  • Familiarity with site reliability engineering, production support, and service management practices
  • Project, program, agile, or change management certifications
  • Experience leading large-scale client implementations, upgrades, or transformation initiatives
