FIS AMBASSADOR JOB DESCRIPTION
Our FIS or Federal Inspection Station Ambassadors provide welcoming customer service and support to all International Passengers arriving from Foreign countries, assist during the process of entering into United States with Customs Border Protection. Ambassadors provide a friendly face, translation assistance, directions to move through the facilities and also Orlando International airport , as well as assistance passengers with airport connecting information .Multi-languages preferred such as , German, Portuguese, French, Italian, Arabic, Hindi, English, Exceptional Customers Services skills.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of a FIS Agent, the employee is regularly required to sit; stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and work in a fast paced environment. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 90 pounds or more. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close proximity vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Good hand/eye coordination is required.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
  • High School Diploma
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Able to communicate in English fluently
  • Bilingual preferred
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights/holidays and weekends
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to frequently and steadily lift baggage at 90 pounds or above
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • Must be self-motivated and willing to learn
  • Customer service driven
  • Must be comfortable and capable of working safely around industrial equipment
  • Ability to pass criminal background check to be badged in secure areas of an airport
