High End Residential Construction Foreman – Lead Custom Residential Builds for J.D. Eicher Builder

The Opportunity:

You will serve as a vital field leader driving the successful execution of premier residential projects. This role allows you to combine your elite carpentry skills with site leadership to deliver beautiful, lasting craftsmanship. You will enjoy independent field authority backed by a supportive team that treats you like family.


How You Will Make An Impact:

  • Lead and supervise carpentry crews on site to deliver high-quality residential builds.
  • Interpret architectural and structural plan sets accurately to guide daily field operations.
  • Execute precise hands-on carpentry work including framing, finish carpentry, cabinetry, and trim.
  • Coordinate daily work schedules and delegate tasks efficiently to maintain production goals.

  • Proficiency reading and interpreting full construction plan sets, both architectural and structural.
  • Strong understanding of excavation, concrete work, framing, weather resistive barriers, windows, doors, siding, and finish carpentry.
  • Ability to simultaneously lead an on-site crew while executing hands-on carpentry work.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment in dynamic field conditions.
  • Physical capacity to lift 70 pounds, climb ladders, work at heights, and perform demanding physical labor.


Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • Advanced expertise in high-performance building standards and energy-efficient building envelopes.
  • Demonstrated success troubleshooting complex framing or structural field adjustments autonomously.
  • Established track record of mentoring apprentice carpenters into independent, skilled tradespeople.
