Foster Remodeling Solutions is hiring an experienced, hands-on Kitchen & Bath Lead Carpenter to lead residential remodeling projects from preconstruction handoff through final walkthrough. This is a working lead position for a craft professional who can install, coordinate, communicate, and drive each project to a clean, timely close.


THE WORK YOU WILL LEAD

  • Lead kitchen, bathroom, and related interior remodeling projects from demolition through final completion and punch-list closeout.
  • Perform high-quality hands-on work, including cabinet installation, finish carpentry, doors and trim, blocking, framing modifications, hardware, accessories, and detailed punch work.
  • Read plans, elevations, specifications, selections, and schedules; identify conflicts early and communicate practical solutions before they affect the client or timeline.
  • Coordinate trade partners, inspections, material deliveries, and daily site activity so work proceeds in the correct sequence.
  • Protect the client’s home and maintain a safe, organized, broom-clean job site every day.
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners, the Production Manager, designers, trade partners, and office staff; provide clear progress updates and document issues promptly.
  • Inspect workmanship throughout the project, maintain quality standards, and drive every job to a complete and professional closeout.
  • Mentor carpenters and apprentices by setting clear expectations for craftsmanship, productivity, safety, and respect for the client’s home.


WHAT YOU BRING

  • Typically, 10 or more years of progressively responsible residential remodeling or carpentry experience, including demonstrated responsibility for leading projects, crews, or trade partners. Equivalent combinations of relevant experience and training will be considered.
  • Strong kitchen and bath remodeling expertise, especially cabinet installation, finish carpentry, layout, trim, and project detailing.
  • Working knowledge of residential framing, drywall, and plumbing/electrical trade coordination; tile preparation and installation experience is desirable.
  • Ability to read plans, plan work ahead, solve field conditions, sequence trades, and maintain a realistic project schedule.
  • Professional communication with homeowners, sound judgment, and the ability to take responsibility for the job site.
  • High standards for quality, cleanliness, safety, and follow-through.
  • Valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets company and insurance requirements; regular driving between project sites is an essential function of the position.
  • High school diploma or GED.
