Description:

Crown Distributors is currently seeking a 2nd Shift Order Selector for our Topeka facility. No prior warehouse experience is required; we offer comprehensive training for individuals who are punctual, reliable, and capable of meeting the physical demands of the role. This position operates Sunday through Thursday, from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., offering consistent Friday and Saturday days off and allowing you to keep your mornings free.

Responsibilities

  • Selecting Customer Orders: Use our voice-directed system with a forearm-mounted iPhone for navigation and a hand-mounted scanner for UPC verification.
  • Pallet Optimization: Efficiently build secure, well-balanced pallets to ensure product stability during transit and damage-free delivery to customers.
  • Staging & Preparation: Secure completed pallets using shrink-wrap and stage them in designated outbound shipping lanes.
  • Operate Equipment: Safely operate electric pallet jacks. (Note: Crown Distributors provides complimentary, in-house forklift certification on the clock once you are ready to advance).
  • Maintain a Safe Work Area: Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
  • Team Dependability: The team depends on each other. Being reliable matters more to us than prior warehouse experience.

  • Pay: $19.00 to $20.75 per hour, based on experience
  • Bi-weekly pay, plus on-demand pay available through Paylocity

Requirements:
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must be able to report to work reliably and maintain regular attendance.
  • Ability to regularly lift and move products weighing up to 30 pounds and safely handle heavier items, including kegs weighing up to 160 pounds, through the use of mechanical equipment, team lifting, and established safe-work procedures.
