Aspire Senior Living Malden is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our esteemed team in Malden, Missouri. Our skilled nursing facility is committed to delivering exceptional care to our residents, and we're looking for a talented COTA to help us achieve this mission.
About the Role:
As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with Aspire Senior Living Malden, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents. Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) will work closely with our occupational therapy team to design and implement personalized therapy plans that promote independence, mobility, and overall well-being. Your expertise will be utilized to help our residents recover from illnesses, injuries, or surgeries, and to improve their quality of life.
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with occupational therapists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement tailored therapy plans
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify residents' needs and abilities
• Design and implement treatment plans to promote rehabilitation, independence, and overall well-being
• Provide occupational therapy interventions, including exercises, activities, and education
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and caregivers to ensure seamless care transitions
• Maintain accurate records and reports of resident progress and treatment plans
