Description

Job Title: Blender Operator/Sanitation 

Reports To: Department Supervisor 

FLSA Status: Hourly Non-Exempt 


1st Shift

Hours: 6:30am-3:00pm

Overtime required based on production need.


$16.25/hour



Operates mixing machine to blend ingredients into compounds for processing by performing the following duties:

Other duties may be assigned.

  • Loads ingredients into mixing tank and/or blender. 
  • Starts machine and adjusts valves and devices in mixing chamber to aid in blending and densifying mixture. 
  • Operates machine until mixture reaches desired consistency, and turns lever or pushes button to unload mixture into hoppers. 
  • Cleans and sanitizes blender and/or hopper. 
  • Clean and sanitize drains and floors. 
  • Uses chemicals and equipment to sanitize and clean multiple areas. 
  • Disassembles, sanitizes, and cleans other production equipment. 
  • Transports trash and waste to disposal area. 
  • In certain areas, sorts and place leftover pallets in designated area at end of the shift. 
  • Assists in other positions when needed.
