About the Role


We are seeking an experienced Wholesale Parts Specialist to join our fast-paced automotive parts department. In this role, you aren’t just taking orders—you are a critical partner to local independent repair shops and collision centers.

The ideal candidate has a sharp technical mind for specifying parts accurately the first time, a professional phone presence, and the sales drive to build lasting commercial relationships.


Key Responsibilities

  • Commercial Account Management: Build and maintain strong, trust-based      relationships with wholesale clients (independent repair shops, fleets, and collision centers) to drive repeat business.
  • Precision Specifying: Accurately identify and specify automotive parts using Electronic Parts Catalogs (EPC) to ensure the correct parts are delivered on the first attempt, keeping return rates low.
  • Order Processing: Efficiently process high-volume phone, email, and online parts orders, converting inquiries into completed sales.
  • Resourceful Sourcing: Source parts quickly from various vendors and manufacturer networks when items are backordered or out of stock.
  • Logistics & Paperwork: Prepare precise invoices, manage credit returns, and coordinate with delivery drivers to ensure parts arrive at customer shops on schedule.
  • Department Collaboration: Maintain a clean, organized workstation and collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure inventory accuracy.
Requirements:

  • Automotive Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on experience in automotive retail or wholesale parts sales (dealership or major jobber experience is highly preferred).
  • Catalog Mastery: Strong proficiency with computer systems, DMS (Dealer Management Systems), and electronic parts catalog software.
