Auditor, Security Enablement - 1st Shift - Full Time

Job Overview:

Monday - Friday, 8am-4pm ($31.50/Hr)

Analytical and Operational Competencies

• Audit physical security records in ServiceNow for accuracy, completeness,

and alignment with service-level agreements (SLAs).

• Apply strong attention to detail during data validation, cleanup, and user

acceptance testing in our global ticketing platform.

• Identify data-quality issues, including incorrect ticket categories,

inaccurate closure codes, missing work notes, and incomplete follow-up

actions in ServiceNow.

• Create user-level reports and dashboards that help Security Operations

interpret trends, risks, and required actions (i.e., ServiceNow ITIL, Power

BI, Genetec Security Center).

• Learn quickly and apply new physical security system standards, tools,

and processes with minimal oversight.

• Document and communicate root-cause analyses clearly, including

findings, contributing factors, and recommended corrective actions.

Physical Security & Technology Literacy

• Demonstrate working knowledge of physical security terminology and

operations without requiring field-technician-level expertise. This includes

understanding DFO/DHO terminology, common alarm and incident types,

and how access control and video management break-fix events relate to

tickets, vendor dispatches, and investigations.

• Understand badge-access processes, approval requirements, and the

badge credential lifecycle.

• Trace operational events from alarms to tickets, assigned actions,

remediation, and verified outcomes.

• Adapt to new physical security processes and workflows with minimal

disruption.

Compliance and Audit Mindset

• Follow a consistent, repeatable audit methodology.

• Analyze operational data and document audit findings clearly and

objectively.

• Track remediation activities through completion and verify that tickets are

properly resolved and closed.

• Identify recurring patterns, such as repeat alarms, systemic issues, control

weaknesses, and training gaps.

• Follow standard operating procedures and understand the importance of

consistency within a global ticketing system (i.e., ServiceNow).
