This is a high-acuity inpatient role supporting advanced cardiac and thoracic procedures, including robotic-assisted surgeries, within a well-established cardiovascular program.

Join a respected surgical team performing complex coronary artery bypass, valve replacements, aortic reconstruction, minimally invasive procedures, and DaVinci robotic thoracic cases. This permanent Nurse Practitioner position offers long-term stability, strong surgical volume, and meaningful collaboration with seasoned cardiothoracic surgeons.

Job Responsibilities

  • OR first assist for cardiac and thoracic surgeries
  • Pre- and post-operative patient evaluation and management
  • ICU and step-down unit management
  • Robotic-assisted thoracic surgery support
  • Endoscopic vein and radial artery harvest
  • Chest tube and arterial line insertions
  • Daily inpatient rounds and discharge summaries
  • Participation in structured call rotation

Qualifications

  • Board Certified Nurse Practitioner
  • Minimum 3 years of Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery experience
  • Eligible for Washington State licensure
  • Active DEA registration
  • ACLS and BLS certifications required
  • Proficiency in robotic-assisted thoracic procedures strongly preferred
