• Provide immediate counseling to clients in distress, facilitating therapeutic interventions that target their specific needs.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and first responders to ensure client safety and appropriate emergency interventions.
• Develop personalized crisis intervention plans based on rapid assessments, ensuring continuous support and follow-up recommendations.
• Employ advanced crisis intervention strategies and de-escalation techniques to effectively manage difficult situations.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through training and educational opportunities to enhance crisis counseling skills.

This position focuses primarily on individuals grappling with substance use disorders and those facing acute mental health crises. • A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) designation in Florida.
