Job Title: Manufacturing Technician โ€“ Level 2

Location: Hanover, MD--Onsite

Client: American aerospace and defense company

Duration: 12 Month Contract

Role Summary:

Seeking a Manufacturing Technician Level 2 to build, process, and test aerospace subassemblies and assemblies while following established manufacturing procedures, technical documentation, and safety requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities:

ยท       Build, process, and test subassemblies and assemblies.

ยท       Read and interpret engineering drawings, diagrams, prints, specifications, and technical manuals.

ยท       Follow established processes and written instructions accurately.

ยท       Operate hand tools, precision measuring instruments, and industrial equipment.

ยท       Safely handle hazardous materials in compliance with OSHA and company policies.

ยท       Identify and communicate nonconformances to management and Quality Assurance.

ยท       Work overtime and weekends as required.

ยท       Perform other assigned duties.

 

Basic Qualifications

ยท       High School diploma/equivalent plus 2 years of additional education and/or relevant experience.

ยท       Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

ยท       Ability to understand and follow written instructions and technical drawings without deviation.

ยท       Basic math and measurement skills.

ยท       Strong communication skills.

ยท       No security clearance required to start.

 

Preferred Qualifications

ยท       Experience with industrial equipment, hand tools, and precision measurement instruments.

ยท       Strong attention to detail.

ยท       Ability to work independently and effectively within a team.
