Join our Team! Leland Management is seeking a Janitorial & Maintenance Tech for one of our communities in the Clermont, FL area. The position is full-time with competitive pay and excellent benefits.


General Description:

Janitorial responsibilities include cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining all areas of the Clubhouse, North Spa, pool areas, cabanas, Gatehouse and public spaces.


Must be able to work Holidays, nights, weekends and flexible shifts to the needs of the Associations business.


Work Requirements:

Primary work items

  • Open, Close and secure the Community buildings for daily operations.
  • Vacuum all carpeted floors and damp mop all tile floors
  • Clean and disinfect restrooms facilities daily
  • Pressure wash clubhouse, sidewalks, and outdoor pool deck as scheduled.
  • Basic manual labor will be required, operating and maintaining various types of cleaning equipment/tools, mixing basic cleaning solutions
  • Daily setups, room event setups and breakdowns.
  • Wipe down and straighten all the furniture outside.
  • Clean barbeque grills, pool decks and cabanas for daily use.
  • Perform all other daily, monthly and annual tasks as indicated by management to ensure a safe and well maintained/clean environment

Sports Courts

  • Blow sand and debris from courts
  • Prepare all Sports Courts for daily play.
  • Check all sports courts for damage, clean signage and ensure lighting is operational.
Requirements:

Required Sills and Qualifications:

  • Must be able to work well independently as well as in a team environment
  • Customer service and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Must have the ability to read, write, and communicate in English
  • Organizational skills: Maintenance of workshop areas, inventory, and supplies
  • Preventive maintenance of community equipment and facilities
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds


Education Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required
