Automotive Service Advisor/Consultant employment opportunity with Frank Motors (Toyota, Subaru, and Hyundai) located in National City, California.ย

Our Service Advisors annual gross wages commonly range between $85,000 and $120,000 and if you have the skills, you could earn even more.

Frank Motors, which includes Frank Toyota, Frank Subaru, and Frank Hyundai is a family owned and operated group of dealerships in National City, California.ย  Located less than 20 minutes from most areas of San Diego, Frank Motors has been in the automotive business since 1965.ย  Frank Motors is highly respected in the automotive industry and the ownership is involved in improving the industry both on a local and statewide level. With three great carlines, a large, loyal customer base, and great employees, Frank Motors continues to outpace the local competition.ย  Frank Motors has a Service Development Center (SDC) dedicated to setting and reminding customers of their service appointments.ย  They receive incoming service calls, make outgoing calls for recalls, postponed services, and missed appointments, as well as contacting customers who have not been in in some time.ย  We have extremely knowledgeable technicians, many of whom are master level technicians, who are highly productive and use to working in a fast-paced, customer friendly environment.ย  We have ongoing training for our staff, including technician and service advisor/consultant training from the manufacturer, new product on-line training, and job specific skills training by our in-house trainer.ย  Our service and parts areas run very smoothly in large part due to our solid processes and trained, skilled staff, many of whom have been with the company for twenty years or more.ย ย ย  ย ย ย 

Some of What Youโ€™ll do:

  • Greet customers and create a welcoming and friendly environment
  • Perform a walk around of the customerโ€™s vehicle with the customer
  • Update Customer Information
  • Work with the customer to evaluate their service needs, review past service history, and make recommendations for repairs
  • Check for open Recalls
  • Instill confidence in the customer by completing accurate estimates for parts and labor
  • Partner with service technicians to ensure work is completed and done on time
  • Build trust in customers by checking up on repairs, explaining completed work, and ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Continue to develop your skills through training and experience and take your career to new heights!

What we are looking for:

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • At least two years of service advising experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Proficient Computer Skills
  • Professional work ethic and high integrity
  • Ability to work as a team and/or independently
  • Strong problem solving and follow up skills
