We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to support shipping, receiving, and logistics operations within a warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in coordinating shipments, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring timely delivery of products while supporting overall supply chain efficiency.
Job Description
The Logistics Specialist will be responsible for supporting day-to-day shipping and receiving activities, maintaining logistics records, and coordinating inbound and outbound shipments. This position works closely with customer service, logistics, and planning teams to ensure accurate and efficient movement of goods.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate logistics documentation for inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring proper filing, tracking, and record accessibility.
  • Coordinate customer shipments, including preparation of small parcel shipments and resolution of shipment or delivery discrepancies in partnership with Customer Service.
  • Monitor shipment status and follow up on non-deliveries, ensuring timely escalation and resolution of issues.
  • Communicate shipping schedule changes to logistics and planning teams to support operational continuity.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving activities within the warehouse environment.
  • Support carrier coordination and shipment tracking to ensure on-time delivery performance.
  • Perform additional duties and operational support activities as needed.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in shipping and receiving within a warehouse or distribution environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Experience performing clerical and administrative tasks related to logistics and warehouse operations.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience with inventory management and inventory control processes.
  • Knowledge of inbound and outbound load coordination.
  • Experience coordinating with carriers, docks, and transportation providers.
