The core responsibilities of this role include: -Lead and manage the workflow and work duty allocation for team members within an assigned department of the facility to include: Put-Away, Inventory, Receiving, Shipping / Pack-out, Staging, Order Selecting areas. Must be able to lift 50lbs.


Position: Data Center Logistics Specialist II
Shift: Mon-Fri 7:30AM-4:00PM
Pay: $30.05/hour

In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience:

-A minimum of 1+ years in a progressive role within a supply chain, logistics, warehouse or distribution environment as a Team Lead, Workflow Planner or other role that requires making decisions and leading other associates in their daily tasks.

-The role reports directly to the Supervisor and will be responsible for training associates, monitoring production, giving constructive feedback to the associates, providing training to new associates, and assisting the Supervisor to ensure highest customer standards.

-A minimum of 6 month's experience operating stand-up material handling equipment is required. This position requires safe and efficient operation of a stand-up Order Picker and Reach Truck and first preference will be given to applicants with this experience. Experience operating other material handling equipment such as Sit-down, Stand up reach truck, Electric Pallet Jack is also a plus.

Data Center Logistics Specialist II

Role Purpose:

Perform logistics duties within a data center including inventory management, asset management, and data management. Role is responsible for execution and prioritization of daily operational activities, completion of tasks within SLA and quality standards, and maintenance of high productivity while balancing accuracy and safety.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Be able to complete the role and responsibility of a Data Center Specialist
  • Adjust workflows and priorities to meet operational demands
  • Communicate and delegate workload changes within scope of responsibility to hit tasks within SLA and quality standards
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies within defined thresholds
  • Ensure proper tracking, labeling, and chain of custody of inventory
  • Identify and enforce adherence to established SOPs, safety protocols, and handling guidelines
  • Support audit readiness and corrective actions
  • Communicate risks to SLA performance early and clearly
  • Assist with identifying root causes of errors, delays, or process breakdowns
  • Take immediate corrective actions within authority
  • Use escalation pathways appropriately for complex issues
  • Provide timely, accurate updates to stakeholders
  • Support seamless workflow handoffs
  • Support implementation of new workflows, tools, or layouts
  • Share and communicate best practices across shifts or teams
  • Identify and escalate safety risks or hazards immediately
  • Participate in safety initiatives and reporting
  • Demonstrate reliability and consistency in performance

Required Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Previous experience in a data center desirable
  • Ability to utilize computer
