As a Contract Logistics Specialist at Kuehne+Nagel, you will manage end-to-end warehousing operations for our customers. By doing so with precision, you not only contribute to the success of your team, but also to the day-to-day operations and success in the warehouse and distribution centres. For example, storing and delivering delicate flowers and fresh ingredients to local stores for everyday lunches and family celebrations. In this role, you will lead a team and have general responsibility for coordinating daily warehouse activities to ensure the full and efficient operation of your assigned area. You will have varying shifts due to client requirements and will be Monday - Friday from 12:00 pm - 8:30 pm. As a 3PL provider, we will count on your leadership skills to help drive excellent service for our valued customer.

How you create impact

Supervise and develop the performance of your team through effective training, coaching, and motivational strategies

Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide timely feedback to team members

Implement strategies to ensure the highest quality of work, optimize warehouse efficiency and productivity, and meet or exceed KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)

Ensure safe operations and healthy environments for employees, customers, vendors, and visitors

Verify paperwork and accurately complete all necessary records and reports

Ensure shipments are accurate and free of damage, all product is counted, and maintain our product locator system

Help maintain the security of the warehouse and assure the integrity of inventory

Implement continuous improvement action plans

Be flexible to work overtime and perform other responsibilities as needed

What we would like you to bring

High school diploma or equivalent

3 - 5 years of recent experience in a warehouse environment

3 or more years in a supervisory role

3+ years of GXP or GMP experience

Forklift certification and at least 1 year of experience operating powered industrial trucks

Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
