Job Summary:
The Industrial Power Systems Division has an exciting opportunity for an Order-to-Delivery (OTD) Logistics Associate in Griffin, Georgia. As an OTD Logistics Associate, you will become a member of the team that lives daily the team culture, understands and accepts plant policy, procedures and practices. Your daily tasks often include coordinating and assisting with the shipment and distribution of goods and managing and inspecting inventory.

What you will do:
  • Operate and maintain an environment that is safe and clean
  • Adhere to established standards, policies and procedures relating to quality, cost reduction, safety, ergonomics, attendance, quality of work life, IS09000 certification, and audits
  • Perform other duties as required

What you will have:
  • Position requires forklift experience and/or pick pack experience
  • Must be able to work overtime as required

What would make you a top candidate:
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
  • 1-2 years sit down, reach, and cherry picker experience
  • Current or previous logistics experience at IPSD Griffin
  • Good communication skills, both verbally and written
  • Must be capable of working in a participative, team-based culture
  • Must demonstrate reliability and quality awareness

Shift
  • Monday-Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM. Overtime as required.

Relocation assistance is NOT offered for this role.
Summary Pay Range:
$19.41 - $26.21
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
