• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans based on individual client needs.
• Facilitate individual, group, couples, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).
• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical records in accordance with ethical and legal standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
• Stay abreast of the latest mental health research and therapeutic methodologies by participating in ongoing professional development workshops.

As an LCPC at First Health Care LLC, you will treat a diverse clientele, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, PTSD, substance misuse, and family or relationship challenges. Your work will focus on those who may have previously faced barriers to accessing mental health services, emphasizing inclusivity and compassion. The virtual format allows for flexibility in dealing with clients across Reno, Nevada, and beyond, ensuring that no one is left without the support they need.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Possession of an active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Nevada.
• Minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience in a mental health setting.
• Demonstrated ability to establish rapport and communicate effectively with a diverse client base.
• Strong organizational skills and proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software and telehealth platforms.

• Specializations in areas like family therapy, trauma-informed care, substance abuse, or couples therapy.
• Experience in providing therapy via telehealth platforms is highly advantageous.
• A solid understanding of laws and ethical standards governing mental health practice.
