Hospitality Team  |  Part-Time  |  Gainesville, VA

Available Shifts:  8:00 AM – 2:00 PM  |  1:30 PM – 7:30 PM  |  Weekends
ABOUT WOODHOUSE SPA – GAINESVILLE
Nestled in the heart of Gainesville, Virginia, Woodhouse Spa – Gainesville is a 7,000 square-foot sanctuary of ultra-luxury wellness. From transformative massages and advanced skincare to Active Salt Therapy, HydraFacial, and Cosmetic Tattooing, we deliver an unparalleled experience in every moment of every visit. Our team is the heartbeat of that promise — and we are looking for someone exceptional to join us.
THE OPPORTUNITY
The Hospitality Floater is a vital, behind-the-scenes force that keeps our spa operating at the level our guests deserve. This is not a traditional support role — it is a fluid, detail-driven position for someone who takes genuine pride in creating flawless environments and seamless guest experiences. You will move gracefully through our space, anticipating needs, refreshing every touch point, and stepping in wherever the team needs you most.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Guest Experience & Hospitality
•     Warmly greet and escort arriving guests to their lockers and personalized place settings
•     Present robes, sandals, and amenities — ensuring comfort, fit, and a perfect first impression
•     Offer curated beverage selections tailored to arrival timing and guest preferences
•     Apply warm or cool neck wraps, present snack selections, and offer ottomans for seated guests
•     Introduce new intake forms to first-time guests and guide them through the process
•     Serve outdoor patio guests with the same attentive, unhurried hospitality as those inside
•     Escort Renewal Bath guests, provide 5-minute courtesy notices, and return them to their setting
•     Welcome guests to the Salt Room, share the benefits of salt therapy, and assist with setup and cleanup
Area Preparation & Reset
•     Execute thorough seating resets between guests: clear, clean, restock, inspect, and report
•     Prepare locker areas each day: size-appropriate robes, sandals, amenities, and personalized chalkboards
•     Set ceramic seating assignments, celebration signage, intake forms, and thoughtful guest touches for the next day
•     Manage same-day add-on fulfillment for robes, sandals, and ceramic seating
•     Clean and maintain the Main Quiet Room (MQR), Private Suites (PS1 … PS2), Salt Room, Tub Room, Main Duet Room, Master Duet Room, and patio area
Stocking & Maintenance
•     Replenish snacks and spotless glassware in the MQR and Private Suites throughout the day
•     Maintain neck wrap cabis at full capacity — heating, covering, organizing, and monitoring temperature
•     Monitor and empty dehumidifiers to uphold spa air quality
•     Inspect, refill, and troubleshoot aromatherapy diffusers across all areas
•     Water and tend all living plants at the front entrance and throughout the spa
Team Support
•     Provide flexible coverage across all stations during peak periods or staffing needs
•     Execute special projects as assigned by management with professionalism and follow-through
•     Communicate inventory needs and maintenance issues to the appropriate team members
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
•     A warm, gracious presence with an instinct for hospitality
•     Exceptional attention to detail — nothing is too small to matter here
•     The ability to move fluidly between tasks in a dynamic, guest-facing environment
•     Reliability and flexibility across morning, afternoon, and weekend shifts
•     A team-first mindset and a genuine passion for creating memorable experiences
•     Prior experience in a spa, hotel, hospitality, or luxury service environment is a plus
SCHEDULE & COMPENSATION
This is a part-time position. Available shifts include:
•     Morning Shift: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
•     Afternoon/Evening Shift: 1:30 PM – 7:30 PM
•     Weekend availability required
Competitive hourly compensation. Details shared during the interview process.
