Description As a Fabrication Team Lead at Caterpillar you can expect to provide leadership to a team of employees in every area of motor grader production at the North Little Rock, Arkansas facility. You will assist the Section Manager in coordinating workflow, promoting cooperative team relationships, preparing weekly and daily metrics, process safety/quality and delivery checks, review equipment/fixture issues, mentor employees, train and develop employees on job skills and cross training, as well establishing daily priorities, etc. at the North Little Rock, AR facility.
In this role you will lead 5S conformance, support continues improvement process, cover for absences and/or production fluctuations on the team, as well monitoring PM schedule conformance.
Basic Qualifications
  • Previous leadership experiences as a Team Lead, Military Leadership, or Supervisor Experience
  • Positive Attitude
  • Resume Required

  • Excavator, and/or Tractor, heavy equipment, product line experience
  • The ability to read/write and interpret documents

  • Good business sense
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Experience as a welder, machinist, painter, or assembler at Caterpillar NLR is highly desirable

Shift: 1st- Full Time
Hours: 1st shift: M-F 7am - 3pm
  • The potential for 2-4 hours of daily overtime exists and is communicated

No relocation benefits are available. Employees must be in current role for 6 months and not be on active discipline. Employee should make their current manager aware of their application.
