Job description

Security Contract Manager

First Coast Security Solutions is seeking a Contract Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations for Nuclear Regulatory Commission contract located in Rockville, Maryland.  This position is responsible for managing the contract and ensuring requirements are met. The ideal candidate can prioritize tasks, reporting and handle security operations.

Preferred: Active Top Secret (TS) Clearance

Pay Transparency: $130,000-$135,000

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the contract performance and operations.
  • Oversee and maintain staffing levels, hiring needs, onboarding, and training processes.
  • Accept and respond to notices of deductions, inspection reports and other contract correspondence on behalf of FCSS.
  • Make sure employees assigned to the contract meet all contract requirements.
  • Manage staffing, reporting, and other operational needs.
  • Work closely with the customer and leadership to address deficiencies, staffing concerns and other contract concerns.
  • Ensure officers are properly trained and maintain all required certifications and licenses.
  • Maintain employee files, certifications, reports, and required contract documentation.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
  • Respond to emergencies.
  • Assist with interviews and support recruiting efforts
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 Experience

  • Minimum of five (5) years of specialized experience.
  • Preferred Top Secret active clearance.
  • Experience with project development and implementation from inspection.
  • Experience managing and controlling funds and resources using complex reporting requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multi-task contracts or subcontracts of various types and complexities.
  • Must hold a bachelor’s degree in any field or have substantial, verifiable experience in law enforcement, the military, or business management.

Working Conditions

  • Must be available during normal working hours from 8:00 am to 4:30pm.
  • Must be available within 30 minutes by phone or in person to discuss deficiencies during normal working hours.
  • After normal working hours, including weekends and holidays, must be available within two (2) hours.
  • Work primarily performed in a professional office.
