Description
**Reports to:** Branch Manager or Account Manager
Shift - Thursday and Friday, 3 pm- 11 pm, and Saturday and Sunday, 11 pm-7 am
**Job Summary:**
This position falls under the direct supervision of the Account Manager or Branch Manager and is responsible for protecting, safeguarding, and securing assets, personnel, customers, and visitors at assigned sites.
**Job Responsibilities:**
- Safeguard the interests of the client while ensuring the safety of employees and visitors.
- Manage the entry and exit of trucks using a tablet, especially during high-volume periods.
- Stamp necessary paperwork.
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
**Training Requirements:**
- This position requires 80 hours of training, scheduled on weekdays from 7 AM to 3 PM.
- **1st Week:** 40 hours of training at the minimum wage of $7.25 per hour.
- **2nd Week:** 40 hours of training at an increased pay rate of $13.50 per hour.
- After completing the 80 hours of training, the pay rate will increase by $18.00 per hour.
**Requirements:**
- Must have your own vehicle, as there are no public transport options available.
- Computer skills are essential.
- Strong writing skills are required.
**Job Duties:**
- Protect the client's interests within the facility while ensuring the safety and security of employees and visitors.
- Observe and report signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances.
- Prepare daily reports as trained and submit them to the appropriate contacts.
- Complete patrols as required by post orders.
- Monitor and control access to the property according to post orders.
- Notify the proper authorities in all emergencies as outlined in the post orders.
- Report all violations of company policy and local and federal laws as stated in the Employee Handbook.
**Additional Responsibilities:**
- Stand for long hours.
- Be willing to work extended hours.
- Additional responsibilities may be required by the client and assigned post.
