First Choice Nurses (FCN) is hiring experienced Respiratory Therapists (RRT/CRT) for opportunities with healthcare facilities in Arlington, Virginia.

Responsibilities
As a Respiratory Therapist, you may provide respiratory care to adult, pediatric, and/or neonatal patients based on your experience and facility assignment.
Responsibilities may include:
  • Administering oxygen therapy and aerosolized medications
  • Performing respiratory assessments and treatments
  • Monitoring and managing mechanical ventilation
  • Assisting with airway management
  • Performing arterial blood gas collection and analysis as applicable
  • Monitoring patient response to respiratory therapy
  • Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other members of the clinical team
  • Maintaining accurate patient documentation
  • Following facility policies, infection-control standards, and respiratory care protocols

  • Current Virginia Respiratory Therapist license
  • RRT or CRT credential through the NBRC
  • Current BLS certification
  • Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or NRP may be required depending on assignment
  • Recent clinical respiratory therapy experience
  • Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team
  • 1 year of acute care experience
