Job description

First Call Staffing is looking for a part time support person to assist with a client training department. This position will be about 20 hours a week and the pay will be $16.00 an hour. 2-3 months assignment
Responsibilities
  • Execute training classroom set-up and break-down according to predefined room templates, ensuring all materials and equipment are in place and functional.
  • Perform housekeeping and cleaning tasks, arrange furniture, place student materials, and ensure classroom supplies and equipment are inventoried regularly and replenished as needed.
  • Prepare training areas for hands-on demonstrations and practice exercises by setting up
    equipment, samples of client products, and special materials and props.
  • Ensure all assigned tasks are completed on schedule and meet expectations, including classroom
  • Set up auditoriums and other classrooms to accommodate meetings and sessions as requested.
  • Perform scheduled light maintenance tasks in training facilities, such as painting baseboards and trim
  • Assist with event coordination by preparing materials, confirming logistics (e.g., catering, room reservations), and ensuring alignment with the Supervisor’s event plans.
  • Support communication efforts by distributing event-related information to registrants, facilitators, or vendors as directed by the Supervisor, ensuring timely and accurate updates.
  • Support the Franchise Training team and organizational initiatives by taking on additional responsibilities as needed.
Working Conditions
  • Fast-paced, high pressure office environment.
  • Franchise facing, so need to dress appropriately. No shorts or cut off jeans.
  • Additional working hours required as needed to complete assignments and projects on schedule.
  • Needs to be able to drive to Nashville (two times) for training set up and break down.
  • Position applicants must be able to lift 50 - 100 pounds independently or with assistance and special equipment.
  • The ability to work around cleaning products and chemicals.
  • The ability to travel independently and maintain a valid Driver’s License.
  • Work location: On-site
