THE ROLE

Vertica Fitness is seeking culture-aligned, sales-driven leaders to run our introductory classes and serve as a powerful first impression of our brand. An introductory class at Vertica Fitness is a beginner-friendly first experience designed to welcome new clients into our community. These classes typically include a warm coach introduction, an overview of the class agenda and expectations, guided instruction through foundational movements inspired by Vertica's Fit, Flirt, and Fly class categories, and a structured closing sales presentation that invites participants to continue their journey through membership.


The Intro Class Coach & Sales Lead serves as both a brand ambassador and front-line sales professional, responsible for delivering exceptional introductory class experiences while guiding prospective clients into memberships through authentic connection and belief in the Vertica mission. This role requires a deep understanding of Vertica's values, culture, and customer journey. It is ideal for someone who combines strong sales ability with a passion for fitness, movement, and human connection.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead introductory classes using Vertica's standardized curriculum and teaching methods

  • Deliver a "Golden Experience" through an inclusive, high-energy class experience that reflects the Vertica brand

  • Ensure every first-time guest feels welcomed, supported, and empowered

  • Arrive prepared, on time, and follow all studio policies

  • Confidently present membership options and convert first time participants into members

  • Build rapport quickly and personalize conversations to client goals

  • Maintain strong sales performance while preserving a client-first experience

  • Support studio growth through professionalism, positivity, and teamwork

  • Be available for substitute opportunities when possible

  • Participate in ongoing meetings and team development


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to embrace and transmit Vertica's Belong | Beautiful | Vertical values in all interactions

  • Proven sales experience with confidence in relationship-based selling

  • Teaching, coaching, or performance experience

  • Passion for helping people feel confident and connected

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in pole fitness, dance, group fitness, or related movement fields

  • Wellness, fitness, or boutique studio membership or subscription sales background
