Job description

$15-25hr:
  • 1-3 Years experience with Fire Alarms & Security.
  • FASA/BASA, preferred.
  • Familiar with troubleshooting service conditions, ground faults, shorts, and opens.
  • Perform complete fire alarm annual inspections utilizing industry tools.

$25-30hr:
  • 3-5 Years experience with Fire Alarms & Security.
  • NICET II.
  • Product certified on 2 major fire alarm systems.
  • Perform complete system installations (Devices and Panels), programming, and commissioning.
  • Service must be able to troubleshoot Gnd Faults, Shorts, and Opens, and clear moderate complexities with support.
  • Assist in permitting, inspections, and customer training turnover.

$30-$35hr:
  • 3-5 Years experience with Fire Alarms & Security.
  • Service must be able to troubleshoot and clear more advanced issues with minimal support.
  • Service, able to program systems for simple additional work via computer or panel keypad.
  • Know where and how to utilize resources like operations manuals, install manuals, and technical support.
  • New System installations with additional sequencing like elevator recall, door release, AHU Shutdown, and program.
  • Develop autonomous roles being a self-starter and motivated to ensure system reliability.

$35-$40hr: Senior Level:
  • 5-7 Years experience with Fire Alarms & Security.
  • NICET III.
  • Multiple product and product line certifications.
  • Service must be able to diagnose, work through, and more complex calls by being proactive.
  • Beginning level of FD interactions, construction meetings, and fire alarm design assistance.

$40-$45hr:
  • 7-10 Years experience with Fire Alarms & Security.
  • New Technician training and development adhering to ALL NFPA standards.
  • Advanced Senior Level, a self-starter, needs no technical assistance.

$50-+:
  • 10+ Years experience with Fire Alarms and security.
  • Master Technician/AutoCAD/Designer/Sales Engineering.
  • NICET IV.
