First Aid Beauty information

What is the difference between First Aid Beauty vs Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)?

AspectFirst Aid BeautyEmergency Medical Technician (EMT)
CertificationsFirst Aid and CPR certificationsEMT certification and state licensure
Work EnvironmentRetail, beauty clinics, onlinePre-hospital emergency scenes, ambulances
Industry UsageBeauty, skincare, retailEmergency medical services, healthcare

First Aid Beauty primarily involves skincare and beauty products, focusing on retail and consumer education. In contrast, EMTs are trained emergency responders providing pre-hospital medical care. While both roles may require first aid and CPR certifications, EMTs need specialized medical training and licensure. The work environments differ significantly, with First Aid Beauty centered around retail and beauty settings, and EMTs working in emergency medical services. Understanding these differences helps clarify career paths and expectations in the health and beauty industry versus emergency medical services.

First Discovery Academy

Part-time

Job description

¡Hola, Future Spanish Teacher!

Are you ready to turn giggles into "¡Hola!" and curiosity into a love for language? First Discovery Children’s Academy is looking for a Spanish Teacher with a passion for fun, creativity, and inspiring little learners at our three locations!

We’re all about nurturing young minds through songs, stories, and hands-on adventures. If you love the sound of happy chatter, can turn snack time into a mini-Spanish fiesta, and want to bring a little extra culture to our kiddos' day — we want you on our team!

What You’ll Do:
  • Plan and teach interactive Spanish lessons using songs, games, and stories.
  • Create a classroom full of joy and discovery where children feel encouraged to explore.
  • Celebrate the beauty of language and culture with fun activities.
  • Track student progress and keep parents in the loop with positive feedback.
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers to sprinkle a little Spanish magic into the day!
You’re Our Perfect Fit If You:
  • Speak Spanish fluently and love sharing it with others.
  • Have experience working with young children (those giggles are the best part!).
  • Are creative, energetic, and ready to make learning an adventure.
  • Value cultural diversity and bring that appreciation to your teaching.
  • Have CPR and First Aid certification (or are willing to get it!).
  • Hold a degree in Education, Linguistics, or a related field (bonus points!).
Why You'll Love It Here:
  • Supportive Work Family — We believe in lifting each other up!
  • Professional Growth — Keep learning and growing with us.
  • Competitive Pay & Benefits — Because we value YOU.
  • Make a Real Impact — Be a part of a child’s first experience with a second language.

Ready to say "¡Sí!" to this opportunity?

Send us your resume and a cover letter sharing why you’d be the perfect addition to our First Discovery Family!

Let’s teach, play, and make memories — one Spanish word at a time!
