Job description

Phantom Fireworks is the industry leader in retail sales of consumer fireworks. We are seeking a high-energy, self-motivated, and customer-focused individual to join our Retail Management team. No prior fireworks experience is required—comprehensive training is provided. This is a full-time, year-round position at our Tampa location, located at 1031 East Fowler Avenue, Tampa, FL 33612.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Showroom Manager in all aspects of store operations
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and fully stocked store environment
  • Hire, train, schedule, and supervise employees
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and document/report issues
  • Oversee inventory management, including cycle counts and discrepancy resolution
  • Manage cash handling, daily balancing, deposits, and financial reporting
  • Complete weekly reconciliations (banking, payroll, expenses, petty cash)
  • Maintain proficiency in POS, inventory, and ordering systems
  • Oversee store security, including equipment checks and monitoring potential risks
  • Assist with local advertising, signage, and community engagement efforts
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching
  • Attend required trainings, meetings, and annual conferences (travel required)
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Previous retail or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills
  • Experience with cash handling and basic financial reporting
  • Proficiency with POS and inventory systems
