Job description

Southall is a premier destination bringing nature, produce and people together in a powerful and unique way.

The Grounds Team Member position provides all services related to Solid Waste Management, Recycling, Firewood Distribution, outdoor cleaning and Firepit Maintenance. As a Grounds Team Member, you will also have opportunities to assist in other maintenance areas as time and skillset allow. Work shifts range from days, afternoons, evenings, and weekends and our expectations are that you should be flexible as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome guests as needed
  • Collection and proper disposal of solid waste and recycling throughout the property multiple times a day.
  • Clean all solid waste receptacles on a daily basis.
  • Receiving and distribution of Firewood for Firepits, stoves and fireplaces throughout property.
  • Daily cleaning of firepits throughout property.
  • Assisting with the transportation of firepits and other large items being distributed or received on property.
  • Exterior cleaning and pressure washing
  • Ensure grounds areas are clean and neat
  • Contact appropriate party, if necessary
  • Provide general resort information for guest
  • Interact with resort staff in a professional manner
  • Always maintains a professional demeanor and attitude
  • Communicate all major repairs around property to the appropriate party
  • Other responsibilities as needed.

Skills and Experience:

  • Forklift Operation Experience – Certification Preferred.
  • Valid Driver’s License with no major infractions and experience operating large vehicles.
  • Knowledge of Forklift Maintenance, Cardboard Bailers, Compactors and carts (electric and gas).

Education:

  • High School diploma or GED
