Range Safety Officer - EXPERIENCED  (Weekends)

The Range in McKinney is a locally owned indoor shooting range. We are seeking Range Safety Officers to work weekends (Saturday & Sunday). If you have excellent people skills and enjoy working in a retail environment, we want to hear from you. You must have reliable transportation and exceptional customer service skills, be able to multi-task, and work without direction.

Job Description: 

We are an 18-lane indoor range with class/meeting rooms, virtual simulator, retail and event area.   

Our retail staff will: 

  • Perform duties of Range Safety Officer 

  • Provide members and guests with information on the range equipment and perform safety briefings to help maintain a safe range. 

  • Greet members and guests 

  • Assist with rental firearms 

  • Clean range(s) at the end of the evening 

  • Maintain rental firearms (regular cleaning) 

  • Assist members/guests in choosing a new firearm 

  • Host shooting events 

  • Maintain compliance with 4473 and NICS Background check process 

  • Sell ammunition, memberships, merchandise and other items 

  • Maintain a clean and safe range 

  • Be able to lift 50lbs.  

  • Perform opening and closing tasks
