About the role

This role owns the administration, execution, and continuous improvement of the company's Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) program, Authorized Internet Reseller Program, Amazon Authorized Reseller Program, and related channel compliance activities.

The Market Compliance & Authorized Reseller Program Manager is responsible for the administration, execution, and ongoing improvement of the company's Unilateral Minimum Advertised Price (UMAP) program, Authorized Internet Reseller Program, Amazon Authorized Reseller Program, and related channel compliance initiatives.

The role protects brand integrity, supports channel health, enforces reseller standards, and helps ensure consistent representation of company products across eCommerce and digital marketplaces.

This position serves as the primary internal owner of reseller compliance processes, monitoring, issue resolution, partner communications, documentation, and cross-functional coordination with Sales, Legal, Marketing, Customer Service, and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

MAP Program Administration

  • Own day-to-day management of the company's MAP policy and enforcement process.
  • Monitor reseller pricing across digital channels and marketplaces for compliance with MAP requirements.
  • Investigate potential violations,validatefindings, and document noncompliance.
  • Issue violation notices, warning letters, and follow-up communicationsin accordance withcompany policy.
  • Maintain records of violations, corrective actions, recurring offenders, and program outcomes.
  • Recommend updates to MAP procedures, escalation paths, and enforcement standards.

Authorized Internet Reseller Program Management

  • Administer the company's Authorized Internet Reseller Program.
  • Review reseller applications, onboarding materials, and qualification requirements.
  • Ensure participating resellers meet brand, merchandising, product listing, and operational standards.
  • Maintain current reseller status records, approvals, suspensions, and removals.
  • Serve as the internal point of contact for resellercompliancequestions and exceptions.
  • Partner with Sales and leadership to evaluate reseller eligibility and channel strategy alignment.

Amazon Authorized Reseller Program Oversight

  • Manage the company's Amazon Authorized Reseller Program and associated reseller standards.
  • Track which sellers are approved torepresentthe brand on Amazon and related marketplaces.
  • Monitor Amazon listings and seller activity for unauthorized sales, pricing issues, branding inconsistencies, and policy violations.
  • Coordinate enforcement actions or escalation recommendations for unauthorized or noncompliant sellers.
  • Support efforts to improve listing quality, seller governance, and marketplace channel control.
  • Work with internal stakeholders and external partners to protect product representation and brand equity on Amazon.

Compliance Monitoring and Enforcement

  • Conduct routine audits of online reseller activity, product listings, pricing, imagery, and marketplace presence.
  • Identifyunauthorized sellers, policy violations, listing inaccuracies, diversion concerns, and brand misuse.
  • Maintain enforcement workflows, logs, evidence files, and reporting dashboards.
  • Support investigation and resolution of channel conflict, reseller complaints, and repeat offender activity.
  • Escalate significant or recurring issues to leadership with clear recommendations and supporting documentation.

Policy Administration and Documentation

  • Maintain program documentation, SOPs, reseller standards, templates, workflows, and internal reference materials.
  • Help draft, revise, and organize policies related to MAP, authorized reseller requirements, and channel compliance.
  • Ensure consistent internal execution of program rules and communications.
  • Support legal and business review of policy language and enforcement practices as needed.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Legal, Operations, Customer Service, and eCommerce stakeholders to support channel governance.
  • Communicate program updates, reseller status changes, and compliance trends to internal leadership.
  • Support distributor and dealer conversations related to online selling permissions and compliance expectations.
  • Assistin training internal teams on reseller program standards and enforcement procedures.

Reporting and Program Improvement

  • Prepare recurring reports on MAP violations, reseller compliance, unauthorized seller trends, enforcement actions, and program effectiveness.
  • Track KPIs such asviolationresolution rates, reseller compliance rates, repeat offender frequency, and marketplace risk areas.
  • Recommend process improvements, tools, automations, and policy enhancements to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support strategic initiatives designed to strengthen channel integrity and reduce compliance risk.

  • 3-5+ years of experience in channel management, eCommerce compliance, brand protection, reseller governance, marketplace administration, or related field.
  • Experience working with MAP policies, reseller programs, online marketplaces, or channel compliance enforcement.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Amazon marketplace governance, unauthorized seller investigations, or digital brand protection.
  • Familiarity with reseller monitoring tools, pricing intelligence tools, or marketplace compliance platforms.
  • Experience supporting policy administration in partnership with legal and commercial teams.
  • Knowledge of wholesale distribution, channel strategy, and eCommerce sales ecosystems.
  • Experience building or improvingcomplianceworkflows, dashboards, or automation processes.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to sit at a computer for extended periods; use hands and fingers for typing, filing, and operating office equipment; communicate clearly in person, by phone, and through electronic communication; occasionally stand, walk, bend, reach, and handle documents or materials; and lift or carry items up to 25 pounds as needed.
