Fire Sprinkler Repair Foreman

Job Summary:

  • Ensures customers are serviced to the highest level of satisfaction through quality service, effective communication, and met expectations prior to leaving the jobsite
  • Leads, directs, and supports fire sprinkler repair technicians in the completion of service work while maintaining quality, efficiency, and safety standards
  • Conducts installation, modifications and repairs of fire sprinkler systems
  • Performs advanced troubleshooting, service, and repairs of sprinkler systems
  • Identifies code violations and other non-compliant issues and recommends solutions
  • Reads and understands inspection reports, product specification sheets, O&M manuals, drawing, blueprints, and fire codes
  • Coordinates daily work activities, assigns tasks, and monitors progress to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and according to customer expectations
  • Completes and produces reports (as needed) that are legible, accurate, and detailed; completes work orders and other documents accurately and on time
  • Interacts professionally with customers, building engineers, property managers, and acts as an efficient team member within the department
  • Provides guidance, training, and support to repair technicians to promote skill development, safety awareness, and consistent work quality
  • Uses a company-provided service vehicle for work (if applicable) and keeps it well-maintained and supplied with all parts, tools, and equipment; keeps the vehicle clean and organized with a complete inventory of tools and supplies
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills to receive and convey information clearly and effectively at all levels of the FSF organization
  • Communicates job updates, challenges, and recommendations to supervisors, customers, and internal teams as needed
  • Helps to identify continuous improvement solutions to promote efficiency
  • Adheres to all company employment policies and safe practices, specifically CAL OSHA and safety measures related to work
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Experience/Training/Education:

  • High School Diploma
  • 5-10 years of experience in this respective field, with experience serving as a Foreman or supervising field operations.
  • Knowledge of NFPA13, 25, and CA Fire Code
  • Valid Cal Fire Fitter Certification
  • Safety training specific to the role

Job Type:

  • Full-time, on-site, Monday - Friday
  • 40 hours a week
