Our team is growing, and we are looking for a skilled Commercial Fire/Security Technician to join us in Wichita, KS.


Position Overview:
As a Commercial Fire/Security Technician, you will install, service, and maintain fire alarm, intrusion, access control, and video surveillance systems for our commercial customers. You will work directly with clients, project managers, and team members to ensure projects are completed accurately, safely, and on time.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, program, troubleshoot, and repair commercial fire alarm and security systems.
  • Perform inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance according to NFPA standards and company guidelines.
  • Provide excellent customer service while resolving technical issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in commercial fire alarm and/or security systems installation and service (preferred).
  • Working knowledge of NFPA codes, low-voltage wiring, and system programming.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • NICET or CFAT2 certification in Fire Alarm Systems is a plus.
