Responsibilities:

  • Fire/life safety authority, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) compliance.
  • Ensure consistency in code application.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines for integrated compliance.
  • Perform selected reviews based on schedule, complexity, and/or urgency
  • Other duties as assigned.


Requirements:

  • BA/BS Degree in fire protection engineering or related discipline plus 10 years of direct experience.
  • Experience in NFPA standards, fire hazard analysis, and industrial facilities.
  • Successful drug screening.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security or clearance badge.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional Engineering License (KY or equivalent by endorsement).
  • Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS).


Location/Work Arrangement:

  • This position is a fully onsite position in Paducah, KY.
  • Schedule is Part-time, Monday – Friday 30-hour week.
