Fire Extinguisher Technician Position Overview
Currently, we're seeking a dependable, highly driven individual for the position of Fire Extinguisher Technician. In this role, you will travel to various commercial, residential, and industrial sites to inspect, service, and repair Portable Fire Extinguishers in accordance with the NFPA 10 codes. Experience is preferred but for the right candidate, Victory Fire Protection will offer on-the-job training. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and have great communication/customer service skills, as they will have direct interaction with Victory Fire Protection’s service base.
Key Responsibilities
· Perform routine visual and physical inspections of portable fire extinguishers.
· Inspect, test and document emergency and exit lighting systems.
· Identify deficiencies, generate accurate service reports, and properly tag equipment.
· Accurately document and upload all service data, inspection reports, and work orders using a company-issued tablet.
· Communicate effectively with clients to explain the inspection findings and recommend necessary repairs or other services that may be needed.
· Maintain a well-organized and stocked company service vehicle.
Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or GED required.
· 1+ years of experience in the fire protection or life safety industry preferred but willing to train for the right individual.
· Valid Driver’s License with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
· Ability to familiarize with local fire codes and OSHA safety standards.
· Ability to obtain a Denver Fire Extinguisher Inspection License within 6 months of being hired.
· Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work outdoors or in varying commercial environments.
· Strong work ethic, dependable, and a high level of customer service professionalism.

Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $20.00 to $30.00 per hour, depending on experience.
