Job description

The Senior Product Management Specialist - Fire Portfolio Strategy (Canada) is responsible for defining and executing the strategy, roadmap, and growth plans for the Honeywell Fire portfolio in Canada, with specific ownership of the ULC-certified product portfolio and Canadian market requirements. This role serves as the primary bridge between the global Fire offering organization and the Canadian business, ensuring Honeywell's fire solutions remain compliant, competitive, and aligned with evolving customer, regulatory, and market needs. The role is based on Honeywell's product management framework of strategic planning, market intelligence, cross-functional leadership, customer engagement, and commercialization.

You will report directly to the Managing Director, Fire Canada, with a strong matrix relationship to the Director Product Management, Fire Americas, and will work out of a Canadian location on a remote basis.

The successful candidate will act as the voice of the Canadian Fire market, influencing global product roadmaps while ensuring local regulatory, customer, and channel requirements are addressed. In addition, the individual will represent Honeywell Building Automation Canada with key regulatory bodies and industry associations including ULC, FM, CFAA, CANASA, and other relevant industry organizations.

The annual base salary range for this position is$81,000- $108,000 in GTA,Ontario and $95,000- $127,000 in Burnaby, BC. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

You Must Have

  • 5+ years of experience within the fire alarm, fire protection, life safety industry or building automation technologies.
  • 2+ years of extensive experience with Canadian fire codes, ULC standards, certification processes, and regulatory frameworks.
  • 2+ years of experience in product management, offering management, application engineering, technical sales support or fire systems design
  • Completed post-secondary education in a related technical field
  • Ability to travel: Up to 20% travel within Canada and occasionally within North America.
