Job description

There is excellent opportunity for growth within the company from technical divisions, to sales, to management. Job Description Inspection, testing, of fire sprinkler systems, standpipe systems, fire pumps, and clean agent systems at various industrial, commercial and institutional facilities in accordance with NFPA, local and state codes. STRONG KNOWLEDGE IN FIRE PUMP TESTING, REPAIR & INSPECTION A MUST. Other duties may include the inspection of fire alarm systems, and portable fire extinguishers. Generating reports based on inspection findings. Job Requirements Minimum 3-5 years experience with fire sprinkler system inspection, testing, and troubleshooting. Knowledge of all types of sprinkler systems to include wet, dry, deluge, pre-action systems, fire pumps and associated equipment. Plan reading and interpretation a plus. Valid New Jersey Driver's license. Knowledge of NFPA standards a plus. Electrical knowledge with fire alarm panels a plus. Current NICET certification in fire sprinkler subfield a plus. Good written and verbal skills. Computer knowledge. Must be able to work well on ladders and/or lifts, able to work in crawl spaces and attics, and must be able to lift in excess of 75 lbs. NJ State Fire License a plus.
