Fire management is the practice of planning, preventing, and responding to fires in natural and built environments. This field involves activities such as controlled burns, wildfire suppression, fire prevention education, and ecological restoration. Fire management professionals work to protect human life, property, and natural resources while maintaining the ecological benefits that fire can provide to certain ecosystems. Their work often involves collaboration with local communities, government agencies, and environmental organizations.
