Essential Duties and Responsibilities Maintain security of premises by conducting inside and outside patrols of the secure facilityMaintain a professional appearance, uniform and manner at all timesCoordinate with police, fire and emergency medical personnel when necessaryProvide customer service by making sure doors are secure and vehicles display proper permitsMake sure any trespasses or crimes are reported to the local police authoritiesComplete daily activity log and monitor camera systemMonitor areas for safety hazards including theft and vandalismAvailability to work overtime when requiredOther duties as assigned by Manager Safety and Environmental Responsibilities Follow SHM Safety and Environmental rules and complete required related training.Wear proper personal protective equipment as required for the task or work area. Report all accidents, injuries, spills and near misses immediately.
