Are you a seasoned firefighter seeking a thrilling challenge while proudly serving your state? If you're ready to take your expertise to new heights, apply now for the position of Fire Fighter II at the Utah National Guard!
About the Role:Â
As a Fire Fighter II, you will receive intermediate-level airfield firefighting/crash rescue training and experience under general supervision. Your responsibilities will include mastering the use and maintenance of specialized firefighting and crash/rescue equipment, delivering fire prevention services, and executing firefighting and crash/rescue procedures and practices.
This position has the possibility of being hired as a Fire Fighter III
Responsibilities:
- Performs firefighting, rescue and hazardous materials response services.
- Responds and administers first-aid treatment to anyone in need.
- Actively participate in national, state and local reoccurring training requirements.
- General Fire Station cleaning and equipment/tool inspection and maintenance.
- Other duties assigned.
